Hi,
first of all:
nrComm is a WONDERFUL tool to access the serial ports, quick & easy to implement.

We producve devices with FTDI USB<->serial FT232, and we use custom VID/PID.
When scanning for active devices on the system,
I want to avoid "babbling" to devices I do not know,
so it would be a great help to have access to further info on the serial port,
like the port name listed in the device manager, or the enhanced info,
where I can see strings that contain VID/PID of the USB emulator.

Any starting point for me would be welcome here... THANK YOU !!!
