nrComm Lib and GPS devices
« on: March 27, 2008, 09:29:55 am »
Hello Vladimir

Thank you for your interest to our product.

Unfortunately, the current version of nrComm Lib does not have special component for work with GPS devices.
Library contains component for access to serial port (TnrComm) and component (TnrDataProcessor) that helps
to implement almost any data protocol.

If you well known protocol specification for your GPS device you can try to implement the data receiving form device by yourself.

I known at least two different communication protocols (NMEA0183 and GARMIN) for communicate with GPS.

Of course we are planning to include GPS component into nrComm Lib in the future.

Good luck!

Good Day,

Kindly ask you to advise, if you's nrComm package (Serial port component) can work with GPS receiver?
I mean if it can take GPS sentence (where the position and speed data stored).

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
