You can try open Demos folder over shortcut in Start menu nrComm Lib group.

Folder was moved for avoid problems with admin access to Program Files folder in modern Windows versions.

Why am I not automatically informed when there is an update?

This is one reason why I do not like purchasing from companies that are not in the US.

Hello

We do not make mass email sending with notifications about new version,
because after such actions our SMTP server can be included into SPAM black list.

You can monitor this group, monitor mine product page or monitor RSS feed.

You need visit update center and you will get EMAIL with download link to latest version of product.
I will re-send logon details to your email address.

We always answer on users requests.
Possible your email server denies our SMTP relay.
Or check your spam folder.

Also please note that US is small country on the other side of the Earth, and
your local time differs on +12 hours from civilization world. :-)

Hello Roman,

Recently I posted the following on Embarcadero Discussion Forum, after you announced nrComm Lib 9.30.
I am having trouble, probably something to do with having the Starter version of CBuilder XE2.
I show you also the reply I got from Eivind Bakkestuen - which didn't solve the problem since I couldn't find the .dpk or .dproj files he mentioned.

Can I use nrComm Lib with C++Builder XE2 Starter? If not v9.30, is there an earlier version that works?

Recently I installed C++ Builder XE2 Starter build 16.0.4429.46931.

On then attempting to install nrComm Lib v9.30 I got a message "cannot find file C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\9.0\Bin\dcc64.exe"

I located this file under C:\ProgramData, and on copying it to the folder above the nrComm installation appeared to work.

However when I start C++ Builder XE2 I get the message "Can't load package C:\Program Files (x86)\nrComm\Lib\Delphi16\Win32\nrcommd16.bpl
The specified file could not be found".

The path exists but there is no file nrcommd16.bpl under \Win32\. I see no nrComm components on the pallette.

Any help would be most welcome.

It sounds as if nrComm wants to build 64-bit bpls, which is not going
to work, as the Starter editions doesn't support 64-bit compiling.

Check if nrComm comes with package project files (.dpk and .dproj) for
the 32-bit libraries, and compile them manually in the IDE. The Starter
editions do not support command-line compiling, which is required for
the installer to work (nrComm should detect this in the installer,
report it to them).

Yes, we know about absent command line compilers in light versions of delphi.
You can try to use special version of nrComm Lib setup:

It deployes compiled BPL.

I have instaled the new version 9.31 and significant problems with Delphi XE3 (Embarcadero ® Delphi ® Version XE3 17.0.4625.53395).
Error:
[DCC32 Fatal Error] Unit5.pas (7): F2063 used unit 'nrclasses.pas' can not be compiled. :'(

then it crashes the compiler.

Here is the program:

I have Installed Version 9.37 into my Delphi XE5 with no problems.
I now am trying to update to Delphi XE6.

My nrComm page reads :

Registered Product    [119651] = nrComm Lib Private License

Period of Free Updates    12 months (VALID!)
Days Left    311

I have the downloaded version of Version 9.38 which I was hoping would install into Delphi XE6.

However When I enter my Licence details I get a Dialog Box saying my licence has expired.

Could you please contact me about this.
