nrcommlib in XE4

Hello,

Our company has produced an application using Embarcadero C++ XE that uses nrcommlib.
I have been tasked with migrating it to Embarcadero C++ XE4 and updating it.
Correspondingly I have downloaded the trial version of nrcommlib version 9.32 and installed it.
When I open my project in XE4 I do not have nrcommlib in the list of packages.
When I try and add nrcommlib using the Component->Install Packages dialog I get an error

Registration procedure, Nrcommlibreg.Register in package C:\Program Files (x86)\nrComm Lib\Delphi15\nrcommd15.bpl raised exception class EComponent Error:<No Message>.

Does this error occur because this library doesn't work with XE4 or is it for some other reason?
