Add a line feed or retur in a text message

How can I add a line feed in a text message? I think I have tried just about everything I can think of but with no luck.

I'm able to send at text message from one mobile to another mobile where I can add a "retur" in the text and it remains and shows on the receiving part.

Is it a limitation of the protocol or a limitation in the nrGsm lib, and if so, could it be implemented to support that?

We tested GSMDemo.
It sends text with #13#10 chars correctly.
